I teach in a Title I school with students of a wide range of abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. However, one thing all of my students have in common is their love of learning. My students love to learn new things and explore new concepts on a daily basis.
My students are explorers, thinkers, problem-solvers, scientists, mathematicians, and artists, but, most importantly, they are kids.
They enjoy learning in many different ways through many different materials. My students want to grow and learn each and every day.
My Project
My students currently need a way to organize their materials such as pencils, markers, scissors, and glue sticks. Organization is a very important life skill that students must be taught. These materials will help my students to practice and implement organization.
These organizing materials will help my students to continue their success with flexible seating.
Students will have an organized place to store materials. By donating to our project you will not only help provide my students with an organization but you will support our flexible seating initiative.
Our flexible seating initiative gives students the opportunity to choose the best spot for them to complete their work. This may include a lap desk on the floor, a table with wobble stool, or even a yoga ball. These options have greatly benefited all of my students. There have been some obstacles that have come up as we move towards a flexible seating classroom. Our latest obstacle has been our need for organization. So, please help our students!
