My students are wonderful kids who are thriving with the new flexible seating in our classroom. They are excited to take their organization to a new level. I have reached out to all of my students asking them what would help them with their organization, and they have requested plastic containers for their storage space. In addition, our room is looking to better organize our chapter book library. We would love to continue using the cubby system to do this. Furthermore, we would love to update our cushions for more comfort.
They are taking full responsibility with improving their space, and I will do whatever it takes to help them feel even more successful than they already do!
My Project
Who can learn in an environment that is not organized? We cannot ask and demand our students to stay organized when they don't have everything they need to be as successful as they can be with their cubby. They will use the file folders to help keep their books in order and their work more organized. As we continue to enjoy all the benefits of flexible seating, the students need an upgrade to the classroom cushions and more yoga balls to help them continue enjoying our flexible learning environment. Our classroom library will be better organized with our new cubby system. Having the cubby and new baskets for the books will allow them to keep organized and be able to make better choices on their book selection. We are so excited to improve all areas of our classroom.
