My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade with mild to severe disabilities, including Autism, down syndrome, learning disabilities, and communication disorders.

Our elementary school is in a high poverty area and many students come to school hungry. Not all of my students are able to participate fully in their general education without extra support. These materials will help my students learn how to be successful, independent, and happy in life.
My Project
My school is creating a new school wide sensory room. The room is going to have amazing products to help my students regulate their bodies and be able to focus more on academics. Keeping this room clean and organized will help my students to get the most out of their sensory breaks. I would like to use these storage bins to keep the room organized and labeled for the most effective and efficient structured sensory room. This room will allow my students to learn how to regulate their emotions and their sensory processing needs. These will be an amazing addition to our new sensory room!
