My students need 26 Seat Sacks to conveniently store their everyday supplies at their own seats.
This project expired on October 17, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are bright and inquisitive. They search out knowledge and information in all aspects of their learning. In both the fall and spring, we participated in a math challenge with Khan Academy. They love watching their progress and seeing how far they have come as a group.
Not only are my third graders bright and inquisitive, they also possess a variety of learning styles.
My school is located right outside the heart of Silicon Valley, where collaboration is the cornerstone for success in the technology industry. We are working on integrating Project Based Learning at my school, so my students work in collaborative teams throughout the day.
This past school year my class was lucky enough to acquire tables that have allowed my students to sit and work collaboratively with each other. The only drawback with the tables has been the lack of storage that is allowed for each individual student's materials. The students each have a cubby to store textbooks and caddies to store group materials.
My third graders are in need of a convenient spot to store individual items that are used throughout the day.
The Seat Sacks will allow my students to have their personal binders, pencil boxes, and free-time reading materials right at their seats in an organized, durable pouch.
