Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our class is filled with an amazing group of a self-starter and motivated kindergarten learners who empower me every day to provide them with a rigorous and excellent academic experience.
Their highly motivated spirits inspire me to provide them with a learning environment that provides them with the resources, academic experiences and research-based instructional strategies that will empower them to continue their learning beyond my classroom walls.
Regardless of their low-socioeconomic backgrounds, diversity in academic experiences and needs, they arrive every day very excited to learn and succeed.
My Project
The main purpose of this project is to provide my students with an active learning environment that supports the importance of active learning methods to improve and support students' engagement, collaboration, academic learning, and socio-emotional needs.

The Birch and Canvas Helpful Little Teacher Stool will help me to monitor students learning and progress during intervention time to address the needs (Magnetic Write & Wipe Board) of the students. This tool will provide easy access to other classroom areas during collaborative and active learning.
The Classic Birch Store Anything Large Classroom Shelves will provide students with two organized areas in the classroom to engage in multiple instructional activities including reading, writing, and math.
