My students need a double sided cart to help get our class organized. They all use binders and it is hard to find the right binder with our current system.
My students are eager to learn and experience the world through geography. We are a hands-on group that likes to be active and creative in our learning. We have been able to get supplies to help with this.
Now we are looking for help to get and keep us organized.
Many of my students come from low-income households and struggle to buy the supplies that are needed for class. I want my students to be excited to come into class and not have to worry about whether they have the supplies needed for the day, but at times I am not able to provide these supplies either. I want my classroom to be the positive and open place they can come and explore the world. Being able to organize their work for easy access to each student would help both them and me. With these shelves I would be able to keep their binders and notebooks together in the same place.
My Project
With the addition of the double sided book cart my classes' binders would be more organized. The binders are currently under their desks, but when we put all five hours of binders under the desk it gets hard to quickly find the right one.
Being able to assign all of the binders a shelf on the cart will help the students because they will always know where their class binders are.
The binders help them begin learning more about staying organized and how it can help make your life a touch easier and this cart will just add more organization to their lives. The smaller cart is going to be used for missing/late/redo papers.
