My students need the yardstick so that we can make sturdy crafts all year long! The pocket charts will keep us organized, and the play dough is great for fine motor skills!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students attend a Title I school where almost all students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Some students need vouchers to help with supplies, clothes etc. Some students come in and really need engaging hands-on curriculum and supplies/tools to help them in their language development. A lot of my students have not been to pre-school, making it even more important to have supplies that will engage them, help build fine motor skills, and help guide them in their education including in their social skills, like sharing and helping, etc.
My Project
The pocket charts will be so helpful and beneficial for our centers. They will be used primarily to have students working hands-on in their math and reading centers. It keeps everything together and visible so students can be working and seeing what they do as they work!
Student work is so great to keep for memories, and card stock paper will help parents keep their child's work for years to come!
We have been needing to restock our supply of paper, and get some pocket charts to keep our centers organized and ready for the next group or even the next day!
