Help me give my students chair pockets to learn the importance of organizational skills. Our students share a classroom with a total of 48 students. This means we have to be creative with the small space we have.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a wonderful group of creative and hard-working first graders. They are working twice as hard to learn two languages simultaneously. This requires a lot of self-motivation and parent support. Although their parents are not able to help very much financially, they do support us with a lot of help both in and out of the classroom.
Many of my students come from single parent households or have both parents working hard and long hours.
All of our students receive a free school lunch. They may not have too many resources, but they are definitely learning to become honest, responsible, and caring individuals. I am very proud of the learning they have done so far. I look forward to witnessing even more of their academic success as well as their social growth.
My Project
My students have a hardtime keeping their desks organized. This is partly due to the fact they share their desks. A total fo 48 students share the same space. In an effort to help them understand the importance of organization, I am asking for chair pockets.
We often waste a lot of time with students missing materials due to lack of organization.
Chair pockets will be a great solution to this problem. Students will be able to organize their desks and keep track of their materials. With this donation you are helping my students learn a valuable life skill that will help them succeed in the future.
