My students need materials, like a lapboard supply center, watercolor caddies, work organizers, and an attendance chart, to help them get, and stay organized in the classroom. These organizers will help students know where all supplies belong in our room.
Organization is the key to lifelong success. School is more than just learning the fundamentals. In our classroom, we also learn organization and life skills so we may be successful citizens in the real world. Help us learn our place in the world and where our materials belong in our classroom.
My students learn and retain concepts best when given the opportunity to have a hands-on approach to learning.
Help them learn and remember organization basics by visualizing where all materials belong and where they can be found later.
The exceptional kindergarten through fifth grade students in my classroom are fun-loving and have a strong desire to learn. My intellectually disabled students benefit from hands-on activities to help learn new concepts, and practice previously learned material. Use of materials that allow them to learn by doing, with added visual support, and repetition makes learning fun.
My Project
Having the opportunity to learn organization skills through the use of a strong organization system, will enable my students to build and expand on necessary life skills toward gaining independence. My students will have the opportunity to use hands-on learning materials in the classroom, and know where they belong when they are done with them.
We are seeking Student Work Organizers (to save our schoolwork), Attendance Chart (to check in daily and gain independence), Name tags and adhesive sleeves (for us to find our independent work stations easily), Magnetic Display Hooks (to have learning center materials easily accessible), Lapboard Supply Center (for organization of white board materials), Watercolor Caddy (to organize our art materials), Display Art Frames (to show off our prized artwork/classwork). These materials will help us experience success in becoming independent and organized.
Help us to create a brighter future for our students and provide them with the gift of organization and independence.
