This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at E. Elementary are enthusiastic young musicians whom are excited to have a formal Music Program offered to them for the very first time! Each week, they enter class, excited to make music.

Our Music Program is completely new, serving all of the K-5 student population.

In our program, students will learn to read, write, and perform a variety of music from a variety of cultures.

Students at our school are eager to realize their musical potential!

My Project

At E. Elementary, the Music Program is in its FIRST YEAR of being offered: My students will need a diverse collection of instruments and materials by which they ca explore their musical and creative potential. As of now, my school has only a small collection of unpitched percussion instruments.

Beginning an all new program as a first year teacher, I am pursuing every avenue I can to give my students the comprehensive music education they deserve.

My students are enthusiastic young artists whom are eager to learn all they can about Music, and need materials in order to reach their full potential.
