My Students

Fun, engaging, and interactive describes a typical day in the classroom of my Pre-K students. The students are actively engaged in learning and the learning process.

My students are young scholars who are eager to learn.

They are 4 and 5 year old students that attend school in the inner-city and they come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of the students in my classroom are learning English as a second language, and their first language is Spanish. The students in my classroom have multiple risk factors that place them at risk for educational failure.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting for my classroom will go to a very good use. It will help to promote and support Physical development and Health for my students. It will help my students to build strong muscles, create healthy habits, improve balance coordination and strength, and provide opportunities to develop social skills. During our outside time the Gross Motor Cart, Basketballs, Basketball Stand, and Scooter will go to a great use! The children will choose to play with different materials during our outside time and work on the necessary skills needed continue their development of the gross motor.
