Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are special because they are all different and they all learn in a different way. They are very engaged in everything they do and they. They love to be creative and learn at the same time. They are a very smart, capable and dedicated group of students who made me happy every day.
My students are inquires and always want to learn something new.
They are very respectful, caring and very friendly. Therefore, I will like to provide a more relaxed classroom where they can have seating choices and feel comfortable as they acquire their educational goal.
My Project
Flexible seating will allow my students to be comfortable as they learn. They will provide seating choices that work best for them. During independent and small group work at the moment, my students are always searching to seat where they feel comfortable. They don't have many choices. They search for their own spot, such as laying down on the floor with clip boards, standing up table, and regular tables with chairs. Flexible seating will provide the freedom that my students need to feel comfortable as they learn and reach their academic goals. It will allow them to make choices and be more engaged as they complete their daily work. I believe that when we give seating choices to the students, they are always more engaged and complete their work faster and happier.
