Help me give my students seat organizers so that they can easily access their materials and keep them organized.

The majority of my students come from a very low income household lacking basic needs. We are 100% free breakfast and lunch. Most of my students come to school with little to no supplies. My students thrive in a safe, organized, and hands on environment. Each and every one of them come to school with an “itch” to learn, and crave more when they master different skills. Their love of reading and writing is so inspiring! My students amaze me everyday, and I feel so honored and lucky to be their teacher.
I have some pretty awesome first graders who love to learn and love to read! They are currently sitting at tables where they do their work at. Since they are in first grade, they have more supplies to keep up with and sitting at tables can be challenging because of the lack of organizational space. Right now, they have to share a small Rubbermaid drawer tower to house all of their materials. It can be frustrating for students who have to reach over others to get their supplies or books as it is also frustrating for the students who are working to be distracted by drawers opening and closing while they are working. My goal, as their first grade teacher, is to teach them how to be more independent. If they had seat organizers, this would change the realm of which they learn. They would learn to be more independent and more organized, and they would gain a sense of ownership over their materials. This is such an important skill for young learners to have...organization is a must to be a successful learner!
