My Students
My students are in first grade and full of wonder. They are coming to school eager to learn acedemics, but they are also learning to be leaders and bucketfillers. My students are superheroes who set goals, work hard, and have fun learning. My kiddos are full of imagination and energy and make life in first grade an adventure.
My students are learning to be respectful, responsible, and safe.
We have many leadership opportunities and classroom jobs to help them build self esteem and a loving classroom environment.
We are a low income school and serve free breakfast and lunch to help meet their basic needs so that all of our kiddos are ready to focus and do their best.
My Project
"A place for everything and everything in its place." Seat storage sacks will hold many supplies including a bag of reading books and student planners.
The classroom is small and has limited space for storage.
We are moving toward a flexible seating classroom and will be using our desks like tables. We do not have a traditional closet and will be storing our coats inside our desks and backpacks in tubs. Coats on the back of the chairs last year proved to be messy and dangerous since the coats often ended up on the floor. I believe storage sacks on the back of the chairs will solve this problem.
Seat storage sacks will help my students be tidy and safe. They will provide a visually inviting classroom environment free from clutter. Seat storage sacks will provide much needed storage space in our small room.
