My students need durable storage containers to help keep pieces and activities organized in the classroom. They also need supply containers to keep their tables organized for a nice work environment.
I have some of the hardest working students around! My students spend the whole school year growing, from only knowing letters and numbers to reading books and creating math problems. My classroom is my second family and I believe they feel that way too.
I teach at a Title 1 school where over 70% of our students are from low income families and where 100% of our students receive free lunch and breakfast.
My students are eager to come to school and learn new things everyday!
My Project
Organization helps a classroom run smooth. All of the hands on activities and games that we have in the classroom come in cardboard boxes that are hard for the students to open and close. The boxes also tear and rip and pieces are easily lost. Kindergarteners can be very rough on materials when getting them out to play and putting them away, therefore having sturdy storage can help keep things nicer for longer.
The supply organization containers for their tables will help keep everything in one place, and give easy access to the students.
Students currently have to walk across the room to get supplies and this generally causes chaos and disruption to learning time. If the supplies are within their reach less disruption will occur throughout the day.
