My Students

Students range in all abilities and come from all walks all life! We truly love working with students who need that extra push to get them where they need to go. Our students range in ability from those that struggle to produce letter sounds, to those soaring through sight words. Whatever the students level or ability may be, they are all learning to be kind, loving humans. Our classroom is all about including one another, and working together to create a common goal!

My Project

If our project is fully funded we will be able to empower our students. They will be given freedom of choice, to choose where they would like to sit. Students will be more comfortable than in a traditional seating arrangement. Flexible seating will allow our students to quickly partner and think with others, which in turn encourages communication. This seating choice will also help meet the sensory needs of some of our students. We believe flexible seating will increase ownership of students in the classroom, making the students feel invested in their own education. Most importantly, flexible seating is fun!
