My students need screen protectors, cases and civics books. I look for materials that will deliver information in many different ways because we all learn differently.
My students are a diverse bunch of amazing talent. They hail from different countries, family structures, economic backgrounds, neighborhoods and schools of thought. I work to nurture their individuality and individual thought. I want my kids to blossom and find their voice and learn and be woke. They are great kids with a lot to learn. They are deserving, period!
They are part of this amazing movement of students putting the tide pods down and waking up to a future that they want to carve out.
They want to be taken seriously and to change the world. I want to nurture that! Help us keep more kids off the tide pods and fund my kiddos!
My Project
I have been gifted through this amazing website five kindle fires for my students. My ultimate goal is to make my classroom 1 to 1. In this day and age it is absurd that every school isn't 1 to 1. However I did forget to add cases and screen protectors to my wish list because well I am a teacher, mom, student, wife, person and well I made a mistake. In addition my school doesn't have civics books worth a darn and I have to create the majority of my materials. I have added a to the point civics book. I am the point person for my school on registering kids to vote. So I take my teaching of civics super serious. Help me help the country and create productive future citizens!
