Help me give my students return in the fall to a rejuvenated and beautiful Montessori classroom environment! This project includes a variety of classroom materials that will enhance our calm, caring, and creative learning community!
We are a public Montessori preschool through 6th grade comprised of a diverse student population from a wide array of Kansas City Missouri neighborhoods. My classroom has 24 students ranging in ages three to six years old.
These young students are fiercely independent and excited about learning.
Each day they come in with a thirst for knowledge and the chance to express themselves in their school community. Our students are particularly interested in art, science, and geography. They are always looking to learn more and more!
My Project
As the school year is coming to a close, we are already looking forward to August! In August I would love for my students to come back to an environment that has been refreshed and reorganized with them in mind.
In a Montessori classroom, a beautiful and authentic classroom environment is essential to successful learning.
These materials will excited each child as they enter the classroom for a new school year in August. The shelving will allow for easier access to materials for my students. The rainbow puzzle will be an addition to our permanent classroom collection. The vertical plant tower will be used to allow each child to take care of a plant in the classroom.
