My students need the oppertunity to use hands-on technology to expand their horizons. Through Google Expeditions, the students can look through the eye of a category 5 hurricane, swim in a coral reef, and more!

My Students

This year, my students will be grades K-5. More than three quarters of my students come from low income households. They are inspired, and they all have a dream. As a computer lab teacher, I want to be able to put them in my shoes. I want to open doors that no other public school can for these young kids.

Technology holds the answers from yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.

Through STEM, teachers are able to bring "REAL" education to the table. Virtual Reality headsets, touch screen tablets, desktop computers, and more! My class will be the ticket to their future.

My Project

The materials in this project will help with research, and they can experience hands on technology in a way that nothing else can provide. If a student wants to type an essay about the coral reef, but has never experienced one, they would be able to explore using virtual reality. The possibilites are endless!

By donating to our class, you will bring the future of technology to the hands of many ever-growing minds.

Google Expeditions can be used in over 500 settings. From virtual reality to augmented reality, students have the chance to go on field trips all year long without ever having to leave the classroom.
