Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There aren't enough adjectives to truly depict my students and their personalities. All of my students have been fans of reading, and, as I move forward, they continue to foster the joy of literature.
My students are spunky and unique.
They come with a desire to learn and grow. They have tried their hardest and continue to push themselves forward. I know when we have had our difficult times, and we are able to move forward, we have found our balance of teacher to student to teacher to teacher.
My Project
I have previously taught in only TK/Kinder dual language grade levels. I have done so with much love and heart. Over the years, I have been fortunate to be able to build my classroom library. This is my 8th year teaching and my first year as a 4th grade teacher.
The most important spaces in a classroom have books in them.
As I start this new adventure, I ask for support to build one of the most important spaces in my new classroom. I am in need of plenty of good books.
