My students are amazing! I am sure every teacher says this, however, I am truly impressed by them every day! They have a strong desire to learn and grow as students. They come into school excited to join a book club and share something wonderful in their reading with others! Students are overjoyed and motivated to work when technology is added to my teaching. Not all of my students have computers at home and there are so many fantastic digital learning tools to use. Help me bring more technology into my classroom so students can access their math, science, and reading curriculum online in class learning centers. I want to provide them with the tools to be successful 21st century learners and feel confident with new technology and ways of learning.
My Project
At the moment, our school has to share technology. Often times, all the technology is being used. We are a rural district in which many of my students do not have technology access at home. My job as a teacher is to prepare them for a digital 21st century.
By donating to my project, our students would have increased access to Chromebooks which would allow daily use of our digital curriculum and practice of 21st century skills.
The Chromebooks will be used to increase researching skills, e-reading and mathematical practice. Please help bridge the digital divide in my 4th grade classroom!
