Help me give my students a Runtz ball chair so they can interact with fun STEM activities and crafts projects for improved eye-hand coordination, problem solving, and ability to work with others.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students I work with attend a school in Miami Dade County and participate in an Academy for children with Autism. Many of the students have decreased communication skills, a variety of sensory issues, and may be reluctant to participate in classroom activities.
Our elementary school is a Title I school with a large migrant population.
Our students qualify to receive free or reduced price lunch.
My children with Autism have language, motor, and cognitive delays and learn at their own pace. Their interaction in functional activities is often diminished due to decreased attention to task and difficulty processing sensory input from their environment. Many of the children are adversely affected by information that we take for granted in the environment and have difficulty functionally engaging in activities. Once they are able to attend, you are able to discover all the amazing talents and abilities that frequently go unseen unless you find just the right way
to open the door. Let's open the door!
My Project
The Safeco Runtz ball chair will provide a safe and comfortable place to sit while allowing my students with Autism to move around while they are sitting. This extra special sensory input promotes self organization and increased attention.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities and craft projects are a great way to learn about a variety of academic subjects and have FUN at the same time.
The Design and Drill Activity and Engineering Building Blocks promote improving coordination, problem solving, following instructions, team building and so much more.
The Drawing Stencils, Turkey Craft Kit and Foam Reindeer Holiday Ornament Kit will be used to make holiday projects, building increased precision/motor control and encourage correct sequencing of the steps.
Students that are difficult to engage will want to join in, so Let"s Open the Door.
