Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day, my students receive intervention services to improve their reading ad spelling skills. I strongly believe reading is a fundamental human right and the foundation for lifelong learning! In my classroom, my students learn how to connect letters with their sounds to be able to read and write independently.

Through touch and movement, these games and activities will help them develop as independent readers and writers.

In order to develop literacy skills, I incorporate multi-sensory learning. All of these activities have been chosen with my students in mind! Students will be able to use more than one sense at a time. These games and activities will continue to enhance the literacy skills that I strive to develop, but in a more fun and engaging way!
