Open Minded Team Building!

Help me give my students a parachute large enough for the entire class, as well as team building equipment!

My Students

I teach Physical Education to roughly 500 students grades K-6 who come from all walks of life at our Title 1 elementary school.

I am constantly amazed at the growth and determination I see on their faces.

Hyon Vela said, "Be proud of how far you've come and never stop pushing to be the best you can be." I love seeing my students working on the skills they learn in class out on the playground, or asking how to improve when we next meet. New skills introduced to the curriculum quickly become challenges to master.

My Project

Students love learning to work together as a team when a parachute is involved! Whether students are spread out in the gym, or outside in the open air, having a spot for everyone is essential!

Minds are more open when students are at a parachute with literacy, math, and working together to lift objects together.

Our current parachute has been very loved and is starting to become thread bare, it also does not have enough hand holds for everyone to be equally spaced out. Help our students have fun while learning and working as a team!
