I have a class of diverse learners, ifferent levels, different backgrounds, different passions. Our neighborhood is growing and expanding. It is exciting to see how at a very young age, my students are experiencing different cultures and views, and learning how to learn and grow through others. My classroom is full of curious, energetic, and passionate learners. We have a strong classroom community and label ourselves "The Mooneyhammers". We lovingly call our school JCT. JCT is the place to be because of our amazing students!

My Project
This project will expand our classroom library. A strong classroom library allows students to engage in an array of books from poetry, to non-fiction, to horror novels. Adding an array of genres, levels, and topics to my library will help ensure that all of my readers have just right books on a variety of topics. Through their reading they will get to explore new worlds, expand their minds, and see the world through a new lens, all while growing as readers. Books provide experiences learning with and through others and set a strong foundation for their continued education in the future.
