My Students

My students are very inquisitive! They have not spent much time in the lab yet and are extremely excited to do so! We have done a few things to peak their interests already but they continue to want more. Their interests are dissection and pyrotechnics.

My Project

In school, we teach students to be safe in the lab. Many times already this year I’ve had to make exceptions because of some of the outdated materials we have. Having equipment that works well will help me teach my students about lab safety. They are eager to experiment in the lab and with that comes lab safety. It’s hard for them to envision what to do when we don’t have that equipment for them to use! Some of this equipment will be used for handling hot equipment and to clean as well which are both aspects of lab safety I want them to be familiar with! Thank you in advance!
