This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the reason why I smile. They offer hope and joy in this day and age of cynicism and negativity. They’re smiles and comments on the world is a gift few are able to experience. My career allows me the opportunity not only to help teach young minds, but observe and learn what the future holds in the young minds and eyes of tomorrow.

While teenagers and middle school age children make most people grown, I love them.

They are at a very tender age where opinions and socialization start to form; because of this they are incredibly clever and entertaining. The children of today are our adults of tomorrow. All of them deserve the same opportunities to grow and learn in institutions that are representative of their future work place. Help me make this possible, please.

My Project

"What I need a license to use a Chromebook? HUH?"

Yup, we were funded for 6 Chromebooks, but I didn't know licenses needed to be purchased as well.

Now we have Chromebooks, but no licenses. Live and learn. We are excited to use our Chromebooks, so please help us by donating licenses.

Technology is critical in every area of the world today. It's unfortunate to say that classrooms and students do not have access either at home or school on a daily basis in this country. Students who struggle in writing often feel more free and competent to write using technology. The stigma of handwriting is removed and they have easy access to dictionaries.
