Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
While we are all staying home learning and teaching remotely, many have come to appreciate what we have. I miss their smiles, laughter, and sounds in the rooms and hallways. Most of all, all our staff and I miss them. We are remotely reading books, teaching, and doing projects with all our students.
My Project
While our students are home, they have been designing projects on Tinkercad. I even have one student who has entered a contest in order to win more filament for our school. 3D printing was introduced to our students this year. Students designed projects, Mothers Day rings, bookmarks library, skeletons for projects, etc. Now they design their projects and I work all day printing them out. For our graduating students we were able to design an eagle with our logo on it. Students love seeing their projects come to life. I hope to continue this while they are at home. I send it to them in their packets.
