This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
“ You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.” ~ Dr. Seuss
I work with an energetic, strong will, mixed ability group of children that I not only love dearly but am trying to make them enthused about learning and their futures.
My Project
My Learning Disabled students find math extremely challenging, and unfortunately the online platforms available to use are not conducive to the style of learning they are familiar with! My students need visual cues, prompts, and modeling examples to help retain material.
This iPad would greatly benefit my students by providing a virtual blackboard where I can share the screen to give them with real time, step by step instruction.
With so much stress being placed on them with having to adjust to remote learning, this will DEFINITELY help to alleviate some of it.
