My Students
The Lady Bobcats Basketball Program is filled with a very special group of young ladies. What makes them special is their tenacity and their willingness to overcome adversity. They work hard daily at improving themselves as student athletes. They are a fun-loving, energetic bunch young ladies that enjoy making a difference in their school and community.
With pure determination that they have in one year gone from a losing team (2-18) to a winning team (14-11).
They accepted the challenge of working hard to redeem themselves with a level of grace and determination. These girls do not allow their humble situations to determine what they can accomplish.
My Project
The materials selected for sponsorship consideration through this donorschoose project are items that our program simply cannot afford to purchase on our own. However, they are critical to the success, achievement, advancement of the players in our program.
An iPad will help the coaching staff prepare and disseminate highlight and game film to college coaches.
Additionally, it will allow coaches to record and download film for players to review and prepare throughout the season. The case requested is simply to protect the iPad, so that we can ensure that it remains in good condition to serve the purpose intended. Lastly, the game books are materials/supplies that we are required to have for each game. Our program has three teams and each team plays approximately 15-20 games. As such, this item is a high need for our program.
