Our student athletes come from diverse backgrounds, but share a common bond which is the love of the game. Our baseball program has approximately 70 players. These are amazing young men who manage full academic schedules, homework, community service, weight room, field practice, and family life.
All of our players must maintain their grades to participate.
Many of our players have GPA'S of 3.5 and higher. Our varsity players will assist the younger players not only with workouts in the weight room and field practice, but also academically to achieve classroom success.
Our players represent our community and school in many ways. They volunteer their time to assist with baseball camps in our community several times per year. They participate in Special Olympics, and are encouraged to volunteer where needed for their school and community. They truly represent the idea that " Sports Matter".
My Project
Our players need new baseball pants for home and away games for the upcoming season. When they take the field, wearing their high school name and colors, it is with a tremendous sense of pride. Uniforms are very expensive and our boys wear them two or three times per week for 6 months. They run, jump, and slide in their pants all season.
All of our players will be given 2 sets of uniforms for baseball season.
Many families will help to contribute to the costs, but not all families can afford to donate. This project will help to provide baseball pants to all of our players.
