My Students
My classroom is a diverse group of kindergarteners with unique learning styles. Our class is an inclusion classroom with students who are excited and eager to learn. The students in my classroom come from many different backgrounds, but they are all motivated to learn how to read. My classroom is always busy with students engaged in many different literacy activities at the same time. You can find students working in pairs or small groups on literacy activities. My students are hard workers who are always wanting to learn!
The goal in my classroom is to create and maintain a love for learning for all of my students.
My Project
Having color coded cubby trays will make it possible for the literacy centers in my room to be easily organized and differentiated for my students' needs in my classroom. Literacy centers can be sorted by colors based on my students' skills and they can easily get a literacy center that best meets their needs.
Organization is key for literacy centers to be effective in the classroom.
Students will be able to choose their literacy center and begin working quickly so learning time will be maximized.
Students will be motivated in their learning when they are free to choose their literacy centers.
