One of a Kind Artists

Help me give my students starter printmaking kits to discover the fun of using paint to make one of a kind prints and multicultural crayons to express their own vision.

My Students

The young artists at MMES love making discoveries with new art materials. They are so creative in expressing themselves with a variety of materials. I am so grateful for this opportunity to provide them with materials to express themselves in new ways!

My Project

My students love to paint and the Starter Printmaking Kits will allow each student to paint on a special surface, a gelli plate. They can even use a q-tip to draw into the paint. The student then captures their work by transferring the painting onto paper, thus making a monoprint. Students can then repaint the gelli plate for new results and new discoveries!

When making portraits, students discover how unique and different they are from each other.

The multicultural crayons will provide each student a range of colors to show how they see themselves and each other. The more color choices students have to express themselves, the more authentic is their art.
