Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I campus. Many of my students have free or reduced-price lunch. Some of them do not have access to technology at home.

My students are eight and nine years old.

My school is an academy, it means they tested to be here. All of them are very smart, they are very excited to learn every single day.

This school year we are moving to STEAM, the students are very engaged with these new projects.

Enthusiasm, creativity, and eager to learn, is a perfect description of my students.

My Project

I am requesting one iPad for my classroom. Currently, we are short just one iPad and my students use them for many purposes including research and to continue integrating STEAM into our classroom.

My students have a thirst for knowledge and are full of curiosity.

The iPad will help them in our daily class.

We use the iPad every day to implement Project Lead The Way. Through PLTW the students explore engineering, Science, and real world problems. Research is also a very important skill to learn and enhance their curiosity.
