My students need 4 tablets to incorporate technology in their math lessons and centers.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
As a teacher in an economically challenged school district, my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Ninety-seven percent of our students are of low social economic status. Despite the challenges they face on an everyday basis, I am looking to provide my students with a meaningful, organized, and clean learning environment so that they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for. My students would benefit from learning in an environment that allows them to always be prepared to learn and complete their assignments, as well as provide them the opportunities to learn using different materials and technology.
The use of technology is not something my students are exposed to everyday. For a lot of my students, school is the only place where they will be able to learn about technology and how to use it. Day in and day out, more technological advances are being made and knowing how to use technology is no longer just a want, but a need. If I were to receive tablets for my students, I would teach them how to use them, and I would download a variety of apps that would help with Reading, Math, and Science.
We need to make learning fun, and what better way to do it then by having them practice skills while playing games they like.
