This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am the Digital Learning Specialist at a Title I-funded, K-5, public school within the city limits, where much of our student population comes from low-income or single-parent homes. Our school serves over 500 students.
Regardless of our students' socioeconomic status, I have learned that they all have unique situations related to their education.
Each year I work with students having attention concerns and it can be very difficult for them to stay focused for extended periods of time. I like to find new, innovative ideas to help encourage and support learning for students that I work with. I want all students to wake up each day excited to be a part of our school community!
My Project
There's nothing quite like a fresh, color copy of a handout or flyer to make teaching and learning more exciting! The HP Color LaserJet printer is the tool to help teachers and students create beautiful, colorful projects for use in the classroom.
Having a high-quality color printer will help students and teachers at our school create colorful, exciting projects and visuals to enhance teaching and learning.
Teachers can create an array of posters to use as visual displays in the classroom to refer to while teaching. Students can print colored copies of artwork and visual displays created on their school iPad.
