Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I truly enjoy working with the enthusiastic, loving, and hardworking children in my class. Like them, I too am from the same county and understand what struggles these students face on a daily basis. Though it may be tough, I am glad I have the support and dedication from many of my student's families. If given the resources, attentiveness, and love my students can overcome obstacles they may face and reach their fullest potential.
My students have a natural curiosity about the world around them, which makes them eager to learn.
My student's willingness to learn and try new things makes each day exciting.
My Project
An easel would be a welcomed addition to my classroom. For one, I would be able to use it during our story time by holding my big books. I would also be able to use it during my morning routine to help teach reading and writing. The Magnatiles would be a great addition to our STEAM center to help students with their creativity and engineering development. The Times magazine will help my students learn about the world around them, with material and photos that are relevant to them.
Resources such as these provide both the students and myself the tools to make every day learning fun and less challenging.
