This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagination, exploration and ABC's! My students come to school ready to explore, laugh and have fun in a safe and loving place. We love to sing and dance while we learn and the best part of learning, is sharing what we heave learned with our families and friends.

My students are each unique individuals and have so much fun sharing their ideas and creations with their classmates.

100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. They come from a diverse background both culturally and economically.

My Project

The best part of kindergarten is that your imagination can run wild. I have chosen fairy tale stem kits that go along with our reading materials, so students can help solve a problem for beloved book characters. They can be the Hero of the story!

In my class we work a lot on social and emotional skills.

I want my students to see that when you work together, when you share your thoughts and ideas with others, you can solve any problem.

I know these materials will not only give my students an educational challenge, but also help them use their social and emotional skills they have been learning.
