My students are strong, kind, empathetic learners and are so deserving of the very best learning environment I can give them! I've been teaching for 15 years and I've had the pleasure of teaching students from all different backgrounds and skill levels. They have all helped me become the teacher that I am today and I am eternally grateful to each of them for that.
I absolutely love my job and the opportunity to attend the Ron Clark Academy Training will allow me to bring back the most current research-based strategies that will engage my students and promote success.

My Project
I have been inspired by Ron Clark for my entire teaching career. I remember when my dad gave me "The Essential 55" book and workbook by Ron Clark my very first year of teaching in 2004. I couldn't wait to read it, and I learned so many valuable musts from it. I have been implementing those teaching strategies ever since. The chance to go to the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta and attend actual classes there and meet the amazing teachers and students of RCA is one I've been dreaming of for a long time.
Ron Clark is an inspiration for teachers all over the world and the opportunity to learn from the master educators at the Ron Clark Academy will be life changing for myself and my students.
This training provides educators the opportunity to observe best practices in action and participate in hands-on workshops. I would spend 2 days being inspired by others that share their passion and enthusiasm for education and be able to take what I learn back to school in Austin, TX, to share with my staff.
RCA's training will expose me to a school and classroom standard for academic rigor, passion, and creativity, balanced by a strict code of discipline. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that will make me a more empowered, motivated and prepared teacher to all my students.
