My students need an Oculus Go so that they are able to explore the world around them from the confines of their own classroom. Our students will be learning about different cultures, beliefs, and ideals.

My students are apart of a classroom that celebrates different abilities within an urban community. They are amazing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who love to learn and explore the world around them. Some of their favorite things are helping their peers in the classroom, spending time outside for adaptive physical education, and working with manipulative's to tackle the mathematical problems that they are working towards.
We take a hands-on approach to learning in our classroom.
The students learn through engaging activities that adhere to the interests and ideals that they all possess. Our classroom is enabling our students to become lifelong learners and achieve the goals and expectations set forth through their plans.
We are asking for one Oculus Go for our students to use directly in the classroom as they learn about different cultures, religions, and ideals from the confines of their own classroom.
Virtual reality has so many applications in the classroom.
Students can experience a moment in history as they visit the Taj Mahal, explore the hallways of the White House, and venture to far off lands.
The Oculus Go will be able to be utilized throughout our entire school year as we continue to learn about different cultures, take virtual tours of historical sites around the world, and examine areas where historical events can be brought to life.
