Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom truly is a second home for us. We have a long way from the beginning of the year to the end. My students grow to care for each other and demonstrate how responsible they can truly be.
They are curious about the world and are learning to find value in being bilingual.
They are discovering new things about themselves each day and I want them to feel that our classroom is a safe place to do so together!
My Project
Students are eager to create shared writing pieces, model their math process, and play word games with our spelling words during centers.
We need a whiteboard easel, anchor chart paper, and writing materials so students can speed away with their learning!
They need a whiteboard easel that can go down for centers on the rug or up for classroom presentations. Students are beginning to lead each other in learning and are eager to take ownership. Students have been playing teacher and leading other peers in center activities during language arts and math! Having Expo markers, pencils, clipboards, and anchor paper will help our little teachers cross the finish line.
