My Students

As a librarian, I teach all the students in the school, with exception of kindergarten. The students are from a variety of backgrounds, their cultures and languages endless. The school is a Title I school, so there is a high percentage of students who receive assistance, such as free and reduced lunch, and food packs twice a week.

My Project

When having to pick up all your supplies, and pile them on a cart to various classrooms, you have to be organized. Right now, the piles of papers on my bookmobile (library on a cart), typically leaves a trail of papers behind me.

The bins for this project will help me organize my mobile library and not leave a paper trail (literally).

The stackable containers will be wonderful to sort the supplies by grade level, so as not to cause unnecessary delays in instruction.

Right now, when I invade a classroom, I usually beg the homeroom teacher for a little space on their white board. These portable white boards will allow me to carry out instruction, without disrupting the homeroom setting.
