My students are 4 year olds. They come to school ready to start building the foundations of their learning. I have a morning and afternoon session, which means I teach 40 students with different interests and abilities. They are eager to explore and learn in many different ways even though many of them don't speak English.
The students make every minute count, and they are becoming lifelong learners on the road to reaching their dreams.
Their school day is only 3 hours so they need to get the most of every learning experience I can offer them.
My project is about ending our Pre K year with a bang! Learning is not going to stop in my room until the very last minute.
The sensory materials will help my students strength their finger muscles so writing will improve as they continue to learn the proper way to make each letter.
The beginning sound box will help the students feel and visualize which items have the same sound. They will first guess what the item is and then match it to the correct picture on the card. This is a very important skill for them to learn as they start on their journey to kindergarten.
