This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My shcolars are unique. If I had to describe them, I would say they are true visionaries. They are creative, curious, and taleneted. What I love most about my scholars is that they are willing and ready to learn. Not to mention, they absolutley love to read.

My schoalrs are persistant, they can push through anything, especially their difficult situations and circumstances.

Many of my shcolars come from challenging households and a in poverty-stricken environments.

Although many of the odds are stacked against them, they continue to rise to the occassion. Not only meeting but exceeding all expectations.

My Project

My scholars can truly benefit from 4 Amazon Frie Tablets. In our classroom, we have had a proven success rate on our individualized approach. We provide the scholars an opportunity to excel by working with them in small group rotations. During these rotations we target essential skills and standards that need to be addressed per child.

These Amazon Fire Tablets can truly accelerate the leaning in my classroom by pushing technology.

I beleive these tablets will give my scholars the extra initiative to want to learn, providing them the capacity to do so.

So, please contribute to our project entitiled On Fire With Learning, as I attempt to provide my scholars an opportunity for higher learning.
