Help me give my students a tablet for the classroom and Christmas holidays.

My cross-curricular 5th-grade classroom is an exciting place full of inquiries and experiences. Despite coming from a low-income school district and other challenges, my students are eager to learn and explore. As a product of this district, I understand firsthand what it is like to be a student in a low-funded school district. Because our school is in a rural area of Alabama, all the students has been tremendously negatively impacted by Covid-19. However, despite the negative impact the pandemic has had on our district, I believe funding provided by donors as yourself will help alleviate the stress on parents and students.
"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."- Benjamin FranklinIt is my duty to make sure all my students have the resources they need. I strive to make the classroom a fun, yet meaningful experience.
The students in my classroom are very excited to learn but they do not have the resources they need to succeed. I do not have enough computers in the classroom for every student. They are not allowed to share computers due to Covid and this will allow safe personal use.
On fire and eager to learn.
These Amazon Fire tablets will help my students with their learning in many ways. Prior to having social distance in our classroom, the students would have center academic groups. During this time, my students would use computers to do individual work. Now, we won't have the room to set them up. Having tablets will help our students learn at their tables individually while they remain safe. Students that are considered special needs will do have the opportunity to work independently on differentiated instruction without being singled out by peers. This also would provide a safe and nurturing environment.
