This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I school where our students come from low-income families and qualify for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.

These students are full of energy and are ready to learn about health and wellness for a lifetime.

My Project

Imagine walking into your elementary school gym and seeing a giant ball that you could almost lift by yourself. That is what I want to bring to my gym. An omnikin ball is a huge 48" ball that is also lightweight. An omnikin ball presents so many possibilities. Students of all ages can use it. You can use the ball for volleyball and soccer. One idea that would be really exciting would be team building. Omnikin balls are very lightweight, but are also very big. This means it is hard to handle for one individual. This presents so many different team building activities. Please help me bring one of the most exciting items to my elementary school physical education class.
