This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always in need of a great book to read! But because of our limited resources, our classroom library is very old and contains books that are falling apart.

With this project, we can update our classroom library with selections of two of our favorite characters: Olivia and Fancy Nancy!

First graders love characters they can relate to; which is why they love Olivia and Fancy Nancy! Children gain so much knowledge when hearing impactful stories read to them and mine will be so lucky to have these books in the classroom.
