Ms. Green from Chicago IL is requesting books through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need leveled books and headphones to support their individualized reading goals. These resources will allow every student (non-readers and readers) to explore their imagination with books via audio and/or visual, and show their succession.

My first grade students from Chicago are the true definition of perseverance. Although my students come from low socioeconomic status neighborhoods they have a passion and desire to learn, that I've never seen before.
Day in and day out my students never cease to amaze me because of their eagerness and willingness to learn inside and outside of the classroom.
Because of this, I have made it my purpose to give these most deserving students the resources that is essential to their learning and well-being.
These materials will make a substantial difference in my students' learning. By providing these leveled books into my low-income classroom, I will be providing literature for students who don't have access to it at home. These leveled books will be a way to share with students and guardian's their child's growth in reading skills and comprehension throughout the school year. Most importantly, these leveled books and headphones will allow my student's imagination to run wild with audio and print.
