My Students

This school year, 2019 - 2020 has presented itself with many challenges. A variety of changes occurred for my students and without hesitation, all 45 rose to the challenge. Now with many obstacles happening daily in their home lives, they still together manage to meet with us and discuss the material assigned to them.

Emphatic, kind, charismatic, engaging, risk-takers and unique are just some of the qualities that fill the seats within our 5th grade classroom.

We would like to be able to present the book "Oh the places you'll go" to each 5th grade student as a token of our appreciation of their strength and courage during this time.

My Project

This school year brought us tears, laughter, changes, unexpected challenges, but regardless of them, we still rose above.

This book will remind my students that even though their are obstacles in life, you can still overcome them.

There is good in the simplicity of life.

Few of my students have access to books at home and during this time, they are missing out of the consistency and love that school brings for them. This book will remind them everyday that with love and appreciation, we can all do amazing things.
