Help me give my students 3 Microsoft Surface GO tablets to have a more engaging and interactive experience during lessons
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My students are what my world revolves around - and for good reason! Of the 48 students I service, almost half are in 1st grade, with the remaining half being almost an even split between Kindergarten and 2nd grade. They truly love to learn and are eager to increase and expand their knowledge and understanding of the world and materials around them.
My students are my inspiration - they are honest, eager, compassionate, and willing to challenge themselves.
I love and appreciate the meaningful discussions we have on a daily basis regarding friendships, family, personal emotions, and other such topics outside of our scheduled curriculum. I strive to reach every unique need of each student in my care, and I am overwhelmed with joy to see and know that they are comfortable enough to trust me when seeking advice and guidance.
For only being 7-9 years old, my students have taught me just how much compassion a person can have for other people. They are truly what drives me to be a better educator and a better human being. Just as I teach them lessons, they teach me in return.
My students are my everything, and you can be a part of it! These Microsoft Surface GO tablets will be a perfect fit for my Special Education classroom. They will enhance lessons and allow students to experience new things in new and novel ways.
These tablets will enable my students to access and explore what they know and what they are learning through different interactions and experiences with the curriculum.
The apps and programs available through these tablets will provide each student with access to the lesson material through a medium that is best suited for them - whether it be through videos, speeches, games, or other forms of interaction. The hands-on feature allows the students to become more fully engaged with the lesson material.
